Yahoo Inc., the former search engine giant, said Tuesday its second-quarter profit fell slightly from the same period last year.
The internet company said that net income for the three months ended on June 30, came in at 160.57 million dollars, or 11 cents a share, compared to 164.33 million dollars, or 11 cents a share in the period a year earlier.
Total revenue rose to 1.7 billion dollars from 1.58 billion dollars, said the company. Net sales rose to 1.24 billion dollars from 1.12 billion dollars.
