Under a government instruction, half of employees in Vietnam will have undergone full training by 2010, compared with 25.4 percent in 2006, local newspaper Labor reported Thursday.
To this end, Vietnam should offer full training services to over 8 million people, and its vocational training establishments should annually increase their training capacity by over 20 percent in the 2007-2010 period.
Vietnam will center on upgrading and building more vocational schools, reforming training syllabuses, and raising public awareness about the role of vocational training, according to the General Department for Vocational Training under the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.
By 2010, Vietnam will have 120 vocational training colleges, 300 vocational schools, and 700 vocational centers.
