The world's top business leaders are gathering in Singapore for the Forbes global chief executive officer (CEO) conference which opened in Singapore on Monday.
During the three-day meeting, the CEOs will discuss such issues as new drivers and the challenge of the global economy, the booming China and India, as well as education and aging problems.
Prime Minister of Malaysia Abdullah Ahmad Badawi will make a keynote speech on Tuesday. The Chinese millionaires, Cheung Yan, chairman of Nine Dragons Paper Limited, the largest manufacturer of packaging paperboard products in Asia, and Zhong Sheng Jian, chairman and CEO of Yanlord Land Group Limited, are also attending the meeting.
The seventh global CEO conference is the third held in Singapore. It will bring together leading CEOs with a combined net worth of 130 billion U.S. dollars.
