Kaisheng Thermal Power Plant, a plant yielding electricity by making use of chicken waste and hull in Guangze County, south China's Fujian Province, will be combined into grid and generate power by November this year.
The plant, established jointly by Guangze Shengnong Group and Wuhan Kaidi Electric Power Engineering Co.Ltd with a total investment of 240 million yuan, is Fujian's first environment-friendly and biomass-fired power plant with installed capacity of 20 megavolt ampere (MVA).
