China and Japan have agreed on the topics of the Second Sino-Japanese high-level economic dialogue during the "Seventh Sino-Japanese Economic Partnership Negotiations" held on October 27 in Shanghai, according to Xinhua report.

During the Second Sino-Japanese high-level economic dialogue, to be held in Tokyo, Japan, the two sides will exchange views on macroeconomic policies, energy saving and environmental cooperation and trade and investment issues as well as regional and international economic issues, especially the hotspot topics such as the economic and financial crisis the international community is currently facing.

The dialogue will enhance the economic development of China and Japan and lead to a mutually beneficial win-win situation, said Chen Jian, Vice Minister of Commerce of China.

Chen also believes it will transmit positive signals for constructing a strategic mutual beneficiary economic and trade cooperation between China and Japan with the concerted efforts of both sides, making a contribution to the economic stability of Asia and the world at large.

The Sino-Japanese economic partnership consultation mechanism was launched by the two governments in 2002.
