Vietnam is likely to reduce impor ttaxes on materials used to produce animal feeds in the coming time, local newspaper Youth reported Monday.
The current tariff of 10 percent imposed on flour, and those of between 5 percent and 7 percent on beans are expected to be slashed to zero percent. Now, prices of animal feeds are increasing.
Prices of pig feed in the Vietnamese market have risen some 18 percent, and those of chicken feed 13 percent within the last three months, according to the Animal Raising Department under thecountry's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
