Chinese shares opened slightly higher Wednesday tracking Wall Street overnight gains.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.48 percent higher, or 12.27 points, to 2,548.10. The Shenzhen Component Indexrose 0.5 percent, or 48.26 points, to 9,689.16 at the opening.
