Hong Kong stocks dropped 418.43 points, or 2.74 percent to close at 14,840.42 on Monday.
Market turnover went upward to 53.01 billion HK dollars, from Friday's 51.73 billion Hong Kong dollars. (7.7420 Hong Kong dollars = 1 U.S. dollar)
