Chinese shares opened 0.8 percent lower at opening Friday, finishing the rising trend that pushed the country's benchmark index above the 3,000-point level.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index declined 24.44 points to open at 3,015.81. The Shenzhen Component Index also dropped 0.81 percent, down 97.54 points to 11,873.18 at the opening.
