The Fourth Global Sourcing Summit kicks off on November 8, 2007 in Xi'an, the capital city of China's northwestern province of Shaanxi.

This summit was organized by China Ministry of Information Industry (MII), Ministry of Commerce (Dept. of Foreign Investment Administration, Dept. of Trade in Services) and Shaanxi Provincial Government.

The Fourth Global Sourcing Summit is a two day event, which kicks off on November 8, 2007 and will be ended on November 9, 2007.

The effects of globalization are far-reaching, especially in the services outsourcing industry, which is in a rapid stage of development. In 2007, customer demand and service patterns in various regions have gradually continued to change.

The Fourth Global Sourcing Summit invites global customers and service providers to discuss the evolution of China's service sourcing market and its development for the future.

Service outsourcing refers to the economic activities through which enterprises leaves the development and establishment of IT systems, application management, and business process optimization to a third party (i.e. service outsourcing providers), so as to focus on their core businesses, and better achieve their business goals.
