Lee leaves Google for his “Works"-Special
Kai-Fu Lee establishes "Innovation Works"
Google China's new management team made its public debut on the afternoon of September 7. Liu Yun and Yeo Boon-Lock will replace outgoing Lee Kai-Fu at the helm of China operations.
Daniel Alegre, global vice president of Google said that Google China's new management team that has two people in charge "is the same as Google's management structure in other countries."
Google will continue investing in China and making efforts in innovation, he said.
Lee Kai-fu, global vice president of Google and president for Google China, resigned on September 4. Google Shanghai Academy of Engineering's president Yeo Boon-Lock will take over the duties of its Greater China R & D, while the head of Greater China sales Liu Yun will serve as vice president of sales and operations to take over the Kai-fu Lee and operational aspects of business functions.
