Ma Foi Management Consultants, a leading human resources consultancy in India, announced the launch of its Hong Kong subsidiary Tuesday, saying the decision was part of its strategy to explore the China market.
Ma Foi was trying to "capitalize on the strong demand for quality recruitment services" in China's mainland and the special administrative region of Hong Kong, the company said in a statement Tuesday, adding that its Hong Kong branch would focus, in particular, on the banking and finance and information technology sectors.
"We see a great potential in Hong Kong. China is a leading global manufacturing powerhouse. Hong Kong is a leading international city with a dynamic, well-educated and market savvy work force," said K. Pandia Rajan, managing director of Ma Foi.
The Hong Kong subsidiary was Ma Foi's 100th operation in its global network.
Headquartered in India and a subsidiary of industry giant Vedior N.V. Group, Ma Foi has 100 offices in 12 countries and regions ranging from the United States, Britain, the Middle East to Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and China.
