A Chinese foundation for youth entrepreneurship and employment was established in Beijing on June 30. The organization aims to help young people start their own business and find work through financial support, skill training, information services, policy coordination and social advocacy.
The foundation is a national public offering launched by the Communist Youth League of China (CYLC) Central Committee. There are 23 original sponsors, all enterprises well-known or representative of their respective industries, including state-owned enterprises, private enterprises, enterprises from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and multinationals.
The enterprises each donated 10 million yuan to bring the original amount of the foundation to 230 million yuan.
