The U.S. dollar roamed around the lower 103 yen level Tuesday in Tokyo.
At 5 p.m., the dollar was quoted at 103.16-19 yen, compared with Monday's 5 p.m. quotes of 103.44-54 yen in New York and 102.68-70 yen in Tokyo.
The dollar moved between 103.05 yen and 103.59 yen, changing hands most frequently at 103.40 yen.
The euro traded at 1.5176-5179 dollars and 156.59-63 yen, against late Monday's quotes of 1.5199-5209 dollars and 157.30-40 yen in New York, and 1.5200-5202 dollars and 156.08-12 yen in Tokyo.
