The U.S. dollar inched up to the upper 103 yen level Wednesday in Tokyo.
At 5 p.m., the dollar was quoted at 103.62-64 yen against Tuesday's 5 p.m. quotes of 103.32-42 yen in New York and 103.16-19yen in Tokyo.
The dollar moved between 103.30 yen and 103.72 yen, changing hands most frequently at 103.40 yen.
The euro traded at 1.5181-5184 dollars and 157.32-36 yen, against late Tuesday's quotes of 1.5212-5222 dollars and 157.25-35yen in New York, and 1.5176- 5179 dollars and 156.59-63 yen in Tokyo.
