The U.S. dollar rose above the 104 yen line on Monday morning in Tokyo.

At noon, the dollar was quoted at 103.83-88 yen, compared with Friday's 5 p.m. quotes of 103.62-72 yen in New York and 102.46-49 yen in Tokyo.

The euro traded at 1.5816-5821 dollars and 164.29-34 yen, against late Friday's quotes of 1.5813-5823 dollars and 163.88-98 yen in New York, and 1.5948-5951 dollars and 163.44-48 yen in Tokyo.
