Bennett Coleman and Co Ltd, Indian largest media group and also holding the company of the Times of India Group, on Saturday bought Virgin Radio of the United Kingdom(UK) with a total of 104 million U.S. dollars, according to The Times of India Sunday.

Virgin Radio is one of biggest broadcasters in the UK with an estimated 2.7 million regular listeners. It has an FM license for London and a national AM license.

The Bennett Coleman and Co Ltd is the largest private FM radio broadcaster in India which has the largest number of listeners and is market leader in most cities it operates in.
