Indonesia will give the order that new industries has to be built within industrial zones, in a bid to streamline facilities, the country's President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said here Thursday.
A final draft of the rules has been prepared and would be signed by the President in no more than two months, industrial minister Fahmi Idris said.
The government will reward companies which build industries within the zones with incentives, Idris said.
Indonesia started to establish industrial zones in 1970s, but has yet forced companies to be built in the area, said the minister, adding that the country now has 86 industrial zones nationwide.
