The U.S. dollar stood at the lower 106 yen level early Monday in Tokyo.
At 9 a.m., the dollar traded at 106.25-30 yen, compared with 106.10-20 yen in New York and 106.34-36 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.
The euro was quoted at 1.5790-5795 dollars and 167.85-90 yen, against 1.5789-5799 dollars and 167.55-65 yen late Friday in New York and 1.5743-5744 dollars and 167.42-46 yen late Friday in Tokyo.
