Toyota downsizes 2008 global sales target to 9.5 mln units |

Toyota Motor Corp. has downsized its global automobile sales target for 2008 by 350,000 units to 9.5 million, said the company on Monday.
The move came as Toyota's sales in its largest market in the United States have been on the decline due to soaring fuel prices and the negative impact exerted by the U.S. subprime mortgage crisis.
The No.1 automaker of Japan also cut its production target worldwide down to 9.5 million units from the initial 9.95 million.
