Tokyo stocks open volatile at outset of trading |

Tokyo stocks remained volatile Tuesday as jitters remain over weakness in Japan's financial and corporate sector.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average extended losing streak at the outset of trading but as of 9:15 a.m., it had gained more than60 points from Monday to 7,223.73.
The gain came after the index marked falls of 9.6 percent Friday and nearly 6.4 percent Monday.
