The Australian dollar ended lower on Friday, with the Australian dollar trading at 67.04 U.S. cents, down from Thursday's close of 67.31 cents.

During the day, the Australian dollar moved between 65.45 U.S. cents and 67.33 cents.

The Australian dollar closed the session at 65.36 Japanese yen, down from Thursday's close of 65.82 yen and 52.68 euro cents, up from 52.29 cents.
