The Czech Republic will provide a loan of 420 million U.S. dollars to build a highway linking Vietnam's capital city of Hanoi and northern port Hai Phong, local newspaper Youth reported on Wednesday.
According to an agreement signed here on Tuesday at the Vietnam-Czech business forum, the project will be jointly conducted by PSJ Holdings from Czech Republic, Vietnam Infrastructure Development and Finance Investment Company and Vietnam's Cienco 1 Company.
Figures from the Vietnam's Ministry of Planning and Investment showed that the Czech Republic has invested in 15 projects in Vietnam, ranking 40th out of 81 countries and territories investing in the country. Source: Xinhua
