The Australian dollar ended weaker on Wednesday, with the Australian dollar trading at 66.02 U.S. cents, down from Tuesday's close of 67.17 cents.

During the day, the Australian dollar moved between 65.40 U.S. cents and 66.29 cents.

The Australian dollar closed the session at 64.52 Japanese yen, down from Tuesday's close of 65.82 yen and at 52.54 euro cents, down from 52.69 cents.
