Dollar climbs to mid-95 yen level

The U.S. dollar climbed to the mid-95yen range Wednesday morning in Tokyo from the lower 95 yen level overnight in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar fetched 95.45-50 yen compared with 95.18-28 yen in New York and 96.57-59 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The euro traded at 1.3030-3035 dollars and 124.38-43 yen versus1.3059-3069 dollars and 124.40-50 yen in New York and 1.2874-2875 dollars and 124.33-37 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday.
