At noon, the dollar traded at 101.65-67 yen, compared with 101.78-88 yen in New York and 100.92-95 yen in Tokyo at 05:00 p.m. Tuesday local time.
The euro was quoted at 1.5790-5795 dollars and 160.54-59 yen, against late Tuesday's quotes of 1.5790-5800 dollars and 160.69-79yen in New York and 1.5857-5860 dollars and 160.06-10 yen in Tokyo.
