According to the Center for Responsive Politics (CRP), with an estimated net worth of 26.6 million U.S. dollars, Securities and Exchange Commission Chair Mary Schapiro is the richest top official in the Obama administration, while President Obama himself ranked 6th in the list with 3.7 million U.S. dollars.
In the Obama administration, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton came in second at 21.5 million U.S. dollars and Attorney General Eric Holder was third with 11.5 million U.S. dollars.
