Romanian capital Bucharest ranks7th in late 2007 in a chart of the preferences of large retailerswanting to expand in the next five years, the national Romprsreported on Thursday citing an international study.
Bucharest climbed in this way two slots compared with late 2006,said the news agency citing the study "International Retailer'sSurvey" conducted by the real estate consultancy company Cushman &Wakefield, in association with the ICSC (International Council ofShopping Centers) and Real Estate Publishers.
The international study was conducted on a sample of 250retailers from 23 countries, including Romania.
There are to be opened 100 new shopping centers in Romania inthe next five years, according to retailers.
Following are the cities retailers prefer most to extend to inthe next five years: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Prague, Bratislava,Ljubljana, Sofia, Bucharest, Budapest, Talin, Amsterdam, Kiev,Berlin, Warsaw, Zagreb, Copenhagen, Riga, Vilnius, Stockholm,Split, Paris, Geneva.
