Taiwan's foreign exchange reserve hit a record high of more than 332.2 billion U.S. dollars at the end of September, the island's financial regulator announced Monday.
The total amount of reserve saw an increase of more than 6.8 billion U.S. dollars over the previous month, it said.
Gains from reserve investment and appreciation of currencies such as Japanese yen and Euro against U.S. dollar contributed to the increase, local financial authorities said.
