China's soft drink maker Jianlibao is reshuffling its upper management. Its former general manager Li Jingwei left office in September. Both Jianlibao and Taiwan Uni-President Group (Unif) which hold its actual management power claim this was "normal personnel changes," and would not affect its sponsorship for the upcoming Asian Games in Guangzhou in 2010.

"The new general manager is Li Shizheng," a source at Uni-President Enterprises headquarters in Taiwan told press. It is understood that Li Wenjie has officially left the office of Foshan Sanshui Jianlibao Trading Co., Ltd.

In recent years, there have been constant shareholder changes in the once popular soft drink Jianlibao company. After Taiwan Uni-President Group took over Jianlibao in 2005, former Uni-President general manager of South China Li Wenjie took office in 2008.

A recent Taiwan Uni-President Group report disclosed that Jianlibao this year recorded a loss of about 20.59 million yuan, less than the 39.88 million yuan loss in the previous year. Li Wenjie has said that if this year Jianlibao reaches sales target of 1.8 billion yuan, the company can be profitable.
