China's first yacht exchange to open in Haikou

As the opening scene of Boao International Tourism Forum, 2010, the Haikou yacht economy forum will be held from March 19 to 20, 2010 in Haikou, Hainan province. China Yacht Club Collaboration Union and China's first yacht exchange will announce their opening at the Forum.

Haikou City Vice Mayor Zhu Hansong introduced that the number of guests participating in the forum is expected to reach 350, including foreign dignitaries and representatives of world sailing organizations, as well as well-known domestic and foreign yacht manufacturer representatives. There will also be more than 30 kinds of domestic and foreign luxury yachts displayed in Haikou.

The Forum will explore issues of mutual interest in the yacht industry, to provide intellectual support for global yacht tourism, particularly the development of China's yacht tourism, and gradually nurture a world-renowned international forum organized at the same place on a regular basis.

Haikou is on the north shore of Hainan province. The pleasant climate throughout the year makes it the country's most suitable place for yachting.

Yacht industry is a high value-added industry and can promote the upstream and downstream industries, including the yacht R & D, design, sales, maintenance, repair, sailing, restaurants, and hotels. This can bring new vision and growth to Haikou tourism economic development.
