Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific said Wednesday it would buy 30 Airbus aircraft at a catalogue price amounting to $7.82 billion.
The carrier will buy 30 Airbus A350-900 aircraft and intends to exercise existing rights to buy six Boeing 777- 300ER jets, it said in a filing to the Hong Kong bourse. The catalogue price of the Boeing aircraft in aggregate is about $1.605 billion, the carrier said.
