Turkey wins first gold at Black Sea Games |

Turkey on Tuesday won a gold medal in cycling competition and became the first country winning gold medal at the First Black Sea Games, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported.
A total of 34 cyclists from Turkey, Greece, Romania, Albania, Moldova and Georgia joined the competition held between Turkey's northern cities of Hopa and Rize, the repor said.
Mustafa Sayar of Turkey completed the leg in two hours 17 minutes forty seconds and became the winner, while Georgios Karatzios of Greece was ranked the second and Ismail Aksoy of Turkey the third.
The second cycling competition will be run over 75 kilometers between Black Sea cities of Rize and Trabzon, Anatolia added.
The first Black Sea Games kicked off on Monday in Turkey's northern city of Trabzon with the participation of athletes from 11 Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) countries.
More than 1,200 athletes, 18 years old or younger, from Albania,Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Ukraine and Turkey will compete in 10 sports of the Games to be held between July 2 and 8.
