"We discussed it for two days and reached an agreement only at midnight on Tuesday," he said, adding that both sides had to make compromises.
Juventus offered Nedved a contract until 2009, but he refused it. Nedved will discuss his future with the managers next spring again.
Nedved said he received many offers from other clubs after the season.
"Some of the offers were really excellent and very interesting financially, which I would have not expected in my age," said the 34-year-old player.
However, he pointed out he rejected the offers as he did not want to leave Juventus.
Nedved won the Golden Ball as the best football player of Europe in 2003.
