China will not change its aim to at least advance to the semifinals of the Asian Cup, Chinese coach Zhu Guanghu said on Tuesday. Though a tie with Uzbekistan on Wednesday will ensure the knock-out stage ticket for China, Zhu said at a news conference his team will fight to win. "We fight for win in faces of any rival. Uzbekistan is a strong team, and we are prepared for the tough clash," he said. The team has injury troubles and absences of captain Zheng Zhi and key defender Li Weifeng in Wednesday's match, Zhu admitted. But he noted China is well prepared. "We have the problems of injury and yellow cards, but that will not affect the match with Uzbekistan, " he noted. "We performs better and better in terms of team strategy and individual ability and we will not change our aim, which is to advance to the semifinals," he added. China will play Uzbekistan on Wednesday while Iran will meet co-host Malaysia.
