South Korea beat Indonesia 1-0 in the last round of Asian Cup Group D matches here on Wednesday, entering the quarter-finals with Saudi Arabia who beat Bahrain 3-1 in another match of the group held at the same time.

In the first half, South Korea and Indonesia performed counterbalance with each team had 50 percent ball control time.

But in the 33rd minute, Lee Chun-soo, the No. 10 of South Korea who was always active in the match breakthrough in the front of forbidden zone and attracted two Indonesian defenders.

He smartly passed the ball to his teammate, Kim Jung-woo on the right wing. The later directly kicked a powerful goal towards Indonesian goalkeeper, Markus Horison Ririhina.

The ball touched an Indonesian defender and changed its track, Ririhina cannot help but seeing the ball flying into the box.

In the second 45 minutes, South Korea launched lots of attacks against the Indonesians, but because of the excellent saves of Indonesian goalkeeper Ririhina, the match point kept 1-0 until the end of this match.

In the match between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain which was held at Palembang of Island Sumatra, Indonesia, Saudi made a big victory 4-0. Finally, the two Asian traditional strong teams enter the quarter-finals without miracle happened in Group D.
