The World Records Academy in Miami on Wednesday announced the homologation of the world record of the queen of gymnastics: seven perfect 10 scores at a single edition of the Olympic Games, reported the national Rompres news agency.

The World Records Academy made the move on July 18, at the anniversary of 31 years since Romanian Nadia Comaneci received the first score of 10 in the history of gymnastics at the Olympic Games in Montreal (1976), according to the agency.

The World Records Academy said it will send Nadia a special gold-sealed World Record Certificate and her name will be listed for ever in all future World Records Books. The Academy said July 18 will be declared the World's Records Day, in recognition of the most brilliant evolution in the history of Olympics.

Nadia Comaneci captured the hearts of the world and became the first gymnast in history to know what it's like to be perfect.
