Bulgaria's world ice dance champion Maxim Staviyski, who killed one young man in a car crash on Sunday evening, is believed to cause the tragedy by drunk driving, local Sofia News Agency reported Monday.
The car accident occurred on the Bulgarian Black Sea road. At a right turning Staviyski for some reason entered the opposite lane with his Hummer and apparently lost control over the vehicle.
The Hummer crashed into the Audi on the opposite lane and caused the 24-year-old driver of Audi dead on spot and his friend in comma.
The Bulgarian Interior Ministry has tested that the alcohol in the blood of Maxim Staviyski is over the normal limit a lot.
If found guilty, the world-famous Bulgarian will have to face up to ten years behind bars and high amercement.
