Birmingham manager Steve Bruce pulled out of a deal to sign Hossam Ghaly because of the Egypt midfielder's attitude.
Birmingham had said that Ghaly's 3 million pound (6.1 million US dollar) transfer from Tottenham was off due to "footballing reasons".
I "found (Ghaly's) attitude and his arrogance insulting to the rest of the people who I employ, and, more importantly, the players," Bruce said Sunday. "He was criticizing everything, including his teammates."
"I think he's a good player but you need somebody who comes through the door who is going to enhance the dressing room, not disrupt it. I didn't want him anywhere near my team."
