Zambia has been picked up to host the next year's Zone Six golf championship in which players from 12 countries will compete, Times of Zambia reported on Wednesday.
The Zambia Golf Union (ZGU) president Malanji was quoted as saying that his union was grateful that Royal and Ancient of Saint Andrews, the world golf governing body, for giving Zambia the honor of hosting the tournament.
Malanji said ZGU has handpicked Lusaka Golf Club as the hosts for the 54-hole regional championship which was held in Uganda this year.
