Long-distance running powerhouse Morocco took a one-two finish in the men's half marathon at the 24th Universiade on Saturday morning.
Mohamed Fadil won the gold in one hour five minutes and 48 seconds, followed by Najim el Gady in 1:06:03.
Takashi Toyoda of Japan tried his best to catch up two Moroccan rivals but failed to overtake, finishing third 26 seconds behind the runner-up Gady.
