Finland's sprinter, Johanna Manninen, became the fastest woman of 24th Universiade when she claimed the women's 100m title in 11.46 seconds in Bangkok on Saturday.

Okena Chebanu of Ukraine grabbed the silver medal in 11.56, while Lithuania's Audra Dagelyte finished third in 11.65.

Chinese female sprinter Tao Yujia, won entered tonight's final with one of the best results in heat, dominated the track for the first 50 meters. However, she failed to lead the match till the finishing line, when she was outpaced by four rivals, and got the fifth place in a personal best of 11.70.
