The Chinese markswomen luckily claimed the team title of the 50m rifle prone event on Monday at the Bangkok Universiade.
Wang Qinqin, the gold medalist of the rifle three positions on Sunday, Xie Jieqiong and Liu Jie collected a combined score of 1, 742 points for China, leaving no margin with the host team, but beating the Thais by higher combined scores in the last series of ten shots.
Russia finished third with a deficit of just one point.
