Ukraine's Nataliya Chepurna grabbed the individual gold medal in the women's 50m rifle prone event on Monday at the 24th Universiade.

Chepurna shot 588 points in the 60-shot competition to secure the title with just one point ahead of Regina Time of Austria.

Chinese Wang Qinqin, the gold medalist in the rifle three positions individual event on Sunday, added a bronze to her personal tally with 586 points. She also led the Chinese team to the title with a combined of 1,742 points.
