Chutchawal Khalaor of Thailand claimed the title in men's 54kg category taekwondo competition at the Universiade on Monday, bringing the host nation second taekwondo gold.

Khalaor beat Lee Woolinara from South Korea 1-0.

The Bronze went to Ihar Leanovich of Belarus and Ayhan Kurt from Turkey.

The first taekwondo gold at the Universiade of Thailand was grabbed by Patiwat Thongsalap in men's 72kg division on Friday.
