South Korean judoka Kim Sung Bum grabbed the men's over 100kg title at the Universiade on Monday.
Kim outpointed Russian player Dmitry Sterkhov in the final.
The bronze medals were shared by Saeed Khosravinejad from Iran and Yerbulat Yussupov of Kazakhstan.
