South Africa A made light work of Zimbabwe Select when they won the first four-day match cricket by eight wickets on the final day at Harare Sports Club on Sunday.
Needing 88 runs on the final day to take an unassailable 1-0 lead, South Africa A needed just over an hour of the morning session to get the required runs for the loss of just one wicket.
The visitors resumed on 44/1 and the only wicket to fall was that of Paul Harris who was out for 40.
Opening batsman Morne Van Wyk finished unbeaten on 63 runs having resumed on 25.
The batting department has once again been the biggest letdown for Zimbabwe as they made 242 in their first innings and it needed the heroics of seamers Gary Brent and Christopher Mpofu to keep the hosts in the game.
Brent and Mpofu took seven wickets as South Africa A were restricted to 280 despite two batsmen contributing 180 of the total runs.
However, Zimbabwe Select did not help themselves in the second innings and were dismissed for 169, this left South Africa A with a small target of 132 which they achieved without trouble.
The final match is at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, the second largest city of Zimbabwe.
