Japanese world champion Yoriko claims Universiade judo title

Japanese judoka Hunihara Yoriko snatched the women's 70kg title at the Bangkok Universiade on Tuesday.

Hunihara, 22, gold medalist of 2005 Judo World Cup, had a fierce fight with Park Ka Yeon from South Korea and only outpointed the latter with one yoko in the final.

The bronze was shared by Erich Barbieri of Italy and Catherine Roberge from Canada.
