South Korean judoka Cho Nam Suk got men's 60kg gold at the Bangkok Universiade on Thursday.
The final contest between Cho, Doha Asiad runner-up, and Maksym Korotun of Ukraine was tough.
Cho at last seized the chance to drove his shoulder into the opponent's chest to bring him down and won with an Ippon.
The bronze was shared by Nazir Kishmakhov from Russia and Hostafa Dalirian of Iran.
