Catania coach Silvio Baldini will be fined by his club after kicking Parma boss Domenico Di Carlo in the backside during Sunday's 2-2 Serie A draw.
Baldini, in his first game in charge of the team, gave Di Carlo the boot during a touchline row and was sent to the stands by the referee.
The Sicilian team was banned from playing matches at home last season following the death of a policeman during riots at a game with rivals Palermo in February.
Baldini partially apologised at a news conference.
"I apologize to the president, the players and to the city especially after what happened on February 2," he said. "I say sorry to the fans of Parma. I am not apologising to him because he deserved it, he provoked me."
